Welcome!

Welcome to the Anglican Parish of Christ Church with the Church of the Good Shepherd !

Whoever you are, and wherever you find yourself on the journey of faith, you are welcome here!

Sunday Worship

8:30 am – Everyone is welcome to join us for this simple and quiet service of holy communion.  This beautiful and meditative service has no music, but does explore the richness of the Anglican pattern of worship.  We always gather for coffee and tea, conversation and catching up with our friends  after the service

10:00 Sunday School.  We use the Godly Play method of Sunday School , which uses the sacred stories of our faith, told in a way that is designed for young folks to hear, to help nurture the faith of the youngest among us.  New kids are always welcome, at any time of the year.  While the kids hear the stories of faith, and learn to ask their own wondering questions, parents are welcome to join us for a cup of coffee and tea!

11:00 – Everyone is welcome to this service of holy communion that is full of music, full of scripture and full of God!  This lively and engaging time of worship features our full choir, our excellent organist, and the worshiping hearts of the whole congregation.

Summer Services at the Church of Good Shepherd

Throughout July and August, we worship together both at Christ Church in Amherst (9:00 am Sunday morning) and at the Church of the Good Shepherd at Tidnish (11:00 am Sunday morning).  This lovely and historic building is the site of many wonderful worship services through the summer.  To join us for a service at the Church of the Good Shepherd, find the directions here .

When you arrive, feel free to park in the churchyard.

There is a lovely provincial park across the road from the church, which is a nice stop after a service!

Cycle of Prayer

We welcome the opportunity to pray with others for themselves and their concerns. Please send us an e-mail with your request and we will add it to our prayer chain. Go to Contact Us on the side bar.

Praying for our Church: See the bulletin for this list.
